Petr Vondráček born May 18, 1977 in Czech Republic is a super heavyweight kickboxer, fighting out of Bacardi. He is a former W.K.A. World Champion.[1]

Biography

Petr Vondráček began martial arts since the age of 14. At the instigation of his mother, he enters a school of Shotokan Karate. Then he goes to Kickboxing-Full Contact training. In amateur kickboxing, he won many battles. It later became five-time champion of the Czech Republic, European Champion and World Champion in Full Contact.

In 1999 he became vice WKA World Champion, he met another Czech Dan Waciakowski. He loses on points in this fight.

At the time when Petr Vondráček is an amateur fighter at the top, the phenom of K-1 is rapidly essort. He was chosen to be part of the eight fighters K-1 tournament taking place in Prague but due to a foot injury, it will not ultimately made. It will debut a year later.

In 2002, he was invited to Italy to participate in the qualifying tournament for the K-1. It makes a sensational performance, winning his three fights by knockout in the tournament. This performance earned him the attention of the Japanese organizers and participated in several prestigious K-1 Grand Prix. At a time when he was in a good time, a sad chapter in his career occurred, Petr Vondracek spent several months in prison. On his return he never found his true level and remained long without a coach.

Since 2004 he struggles to find his level and remains on many defeats.
